National Preparatory Meeting

In October 2001, the national preparatory meeting was organized by Dr Sudhir Bahadur at AIIMS, New Delhi. A National steering Committee formed to formalize the launch of the Foundation for Head and Neck Oncology. Dr R.M Tiwari, Dr Ashok Shenoy and Dr Subramania Iyer elected as the Founder President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively.

In October 2002, the new team of office bearers was elected during the national conference held in New Delhi. The team comprised of Dr Sudhir Bahadur as the President, Dr Subramania Iyer as Secretary and Dr Madan Kapre as the Treasurer. The national working committee was reconstituted comprising of Dr Alok Thakar, Dr S.R.Patil, Dr Mohan Jagade, Dr Anirudh Dam, Dr Farida Wadia, Dr Ahmed, and Dr Jatin Mody.

To adhere to regulations and provide guidance to the presiding team, a governing board was constituted comprising members such as Dr Ram Mohan Tiwari, Dr P. Hakim, Dr Ashok Shenoy, Dr Ashok Gupta, and Dr P.K.Kakkar.
