5th Annual FHNO Conference

In January 2006, the 5th national conference was held at the King George Medical University Lucknow with Dr Naresh Bhatia as the Organizing Secretary. The faculty included Prof Patrick Gullane (Hiranandani oration); Dr Peter Rhys Evans (P.A Shah Oration); and Dr Wesley Hicks and Dr Cherrie Ann Nathan. The conference was organized along with the national conference of Association of Otolaryngologists of India. During the national meeting in Lucknow, the following were elected to be the new team of office bearers – Dr Ashok Shenoy (President), Dr Madan Kapre (Secretary), and Dr Anirudh Dam (Treasurer). The national working committee comprised of Dr K.C.Prasad, Dr Bhowmick, Dr Viren Varma, Dr Azeem Mohiyaddeen, Dr Prathmesh Pai, Dr Alok Pathak, Dr Sukhthanker, Dr Umanath Nayak, Dr Sreedhar Reddy, Dr Deven Mahore, and Dr Nanjundappa.

The CME programs were held in Kochi, Nagpur, Srinagar, Goraj and Mangalore.
