4th Annual FHNO Conference

The 4th national conference was held in Hyderabad in January 2004 under the stewardship of Dr P.S.N. Murthy, Dr Sridhar Reddy and Dr T.B Ramakrishna. The overseas faculty included Dr Piero Nicolai (Hiranandani Oration), Dr Guiseppe Spariano (P.A Shah Oration), Dr Franz Hilgers, and Dr Patrick Bradley. The FHNO gold medal for best paper and poster was initiated in the meeting.

CME programs and Surgical Workshops were conducted in the Command Hospital New Delhi (Dr Sukthanker); Cancer Institute Nagpur (Dr Sanjeev Golhar); Chikildara, Nagpur (Dr Devan Mahore); and Gowhati (Dr Kuddush Ahmed). A three day PG teaching program was also held at the Amrita Institute of Medical Science, Kochi.
